A visual examination of the pervasive voyeurism in our digitally-mediated world, this self-portrait series and its title pay homage to the film "Peeping Tom" (1960). The project is meant to question how our networked existence has reshaped notions of privacy; consequently transforming cultural norms around identity formation, social interaction, and visual information sharing. I’m fascinated by the many new ways of seeing made possible by our digitally-networked age, yet critical examinations of our technology remain pertinent, questioning ethics and systems of power in the context of globalized computer information systems. I aim to provoke thought and engage viewers in a dynamic exploration of the voyeurism we engage with and the constructed realities that surround us.
